How many countries does this plugin support?
The plugin supports 200+ countries worldwide using Google’s libphonenumber-js library. This includes all countries from North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa, and Oceania.
Does this work for my country?
Yes! If your country has phone numbers, this plugin validates them. We use the same library as WhatsApp, Uber, and Google.
Does this make API calls to external servers?
No! All validation happens client-side in the user’s browser. The libphonenumber-js library is stored locally in your WordPress installation. Zero external calls
Will this slow down my checkout page?
No! The library is only 172 KB and loads once when the checkout page opens. Validation happens in < 50ms. There are zero server requests and zero database queries.
Is this compatible with other WooCommerce plugins?
Yes! The plugin integrates with WooCommerce’s standard checkout, so it works with all payment gateways (PayPal, Stripe, Square, etc.) and most checkout plugins.
Can I translate this plugin?
Yes! The plugin is translation-ready and includes a .pot file. You can use any WordPress translation plugin (WPML, Polylang, etc.).
Is the WhatsApp field required?
No! The WhatsApp field is optional. You can enable/disable it in the plugin settings.
